Cracked Roof Tile Repair: Follow These Steps
Step One
Climb up your roof safely. If you’re not featherweight, we advise some caution as you walk over your roof. If you’re doing a cracked roof tile repair, your other roof tiles might also be vulnerable to breaking. Your weight can break and crack more roof tiles.
Step Two
Brush any debris out of the cracks and edges. This will prepare the surface for successful bonding. If the roof tile adhesive is applied to a surface with dust and debris, it will not bond properly.
Step Three
Apply the roof tile adhesive on the cracked edges and put them together. Use a caulking gun. Make sure you put all the broken pieces together. If you have missing pieces, you need a roof tile replacement. If it doesn’t bond together, you also need a roof tile replacement.
